Steatoda bipunctata · dvitaškis brėžius

It spins a three-dimensional criss cross tangle at floor level or in the corners of ceilings and windows. The spider is frequently seen in this web which can become quite large in the absence of cleaning. If disturbed, the spider rushes away and hides itself. Steatoda bipunctata is a common house spider, but is also sometimes found in forests, usually under loose bark on tree trunks. Vilnius, my living room :-)
